Khiladi 786 is a Bollywood action masala film directed by Ashish R Mohan, featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role alongside Asin Thottumkal playing the female lead. The film also features Mithun Chakraborty, Raj Babbar, Paresh Rawal and Himesh Reshammiya. German model Claudia Ciesla apears in an item number Balma. It is produced by Eros International, HR Musik Limited and Hari Om Entertainment. The film marks the return of Akshay Kumar to his famous Khiladi film series after 12 years. It is the eighth installment in the Khiladi (Film Series) after Khiladi (1992), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi (1997), International Khiladi (1999) and Khiladi 420 (2000)

The music of the film is the biggest chart-buster of the year. Recently for the high success of the music, the producers organised a music success party for the film. Upon the release the film mostly got Positive reviews from Critics.
Review
On release the film got negative to average reviews from Critics in India. Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave the film 3.5/5 and said "The film is packed with ingredients that constitute a wholesome entertainer ".Madhureeta Mukherjee of Times of India gave the film 3/5 and said "In Khiladi 786 Debutant director Ashish R Mohan's masala potboiler style is unmistakably reminiscent of his guru, Rohit Shetty's films"."Rediff gave the movie half stars out of 5. Kanika Sikka of DNA said that the film was "Yet another Golmaal and Singham! "
