Some of my friends where bit apprehensive that if a computer which is seeding has viruses would the whole swarm (seeds and peers) balance will get corrupted. Guys don't worry you are uploading only those files which you have downloaded and nothing else. No other file gets uploaded. But yes if the torrent file originally contained a virus can't help it!
That is why I suggest you choose torrent carefully (read :- Ways of Finding Best Quality Torrents). Also if you want to share any file using peer-to-peer (P2P) you need to create and upload torrent .
